Nightguards

Nightguards are used to keep patients from damaging their teeth due to nighttime grinding and clenching.
Nightguards fit on top of the teeth. The soft inner material holds them snugly in place while the hard outer material allows the teeth to slide around without digging in. Nightguards can be made to fit either the upper or the lower jaw.
With a nightguard, all the teeth in one jaw are linked together, so bending forces have a difficult time cracking and damaging a single tooth.
If your dentist has told you that you need fillings or bonding done around the gumline of your teeth, then you probably are damaging your teeth at night and will benefit from wearing a nightguard.

Snoreguards

Snoreguards are nighttime appliances that open your airway and decrease snoring. The appliance fits on both upper and lower jaws. It has links, or bars, that move your jaw forward while you sleep. Many patients have reported getting better sleep at night and waking up much more refreshed and ready for the day.
